Job Summary

As a Vice President of Information Security, you are aimed to conduct software & systems engineering also software systems research to develop new capabilities, ensuring cybersecurity is fully integrated. You will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive technology research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities & produce proper security controls to minimize security risk in cyberspace systems

Responsibility:

• Designs an in-depth architecture focusing on core security services at the host and network layers. Includes baseline secure configurations in addition to applicable authentication, authorization, logging, audit, encryption and monitoring components
• Identifies information security architecture gaps. Recommends architecture changes, enhancements, or other mitigating controls using a risk-based approach.
• Able to assess evaluate competing alternative security control by comparing each alternative's costs with its benefits
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and/or develop appropriate solutions technology
• Identify cyber capabilities strategies for custom hardware and software development based on mission requirements in term of integrity, SLA and performance
• Identify critical infrastructure systems with information communication technology that were designed without system security considerations
• Identify functional- and security-related features to find opportunities for new capability development to exploit or mitigate vulnerabilities
• Research and evaluate available technologies and standards to meet given requirements
• Design and develop new tools/technologies as related to cybersecurity based on requirements given
• Research current technology to understand capabilities of required system or network
• Prepare and present briefings.
• Create technical documentation
• Provide judgement and decision making for any concerns related to specific research project
• Delegate and assign lead for relevant security project
• Ability to produce formulate state-of-the-art research questions that are relevant for company and develop alternative cybersecurity strategies to solve it.
• Leading a single project in term of defining the research question, preparing requirements and collaborate with users / stakeholder for defining requirements
• Mentoring and nurturing team member from Infosec RnD Team Member
• Communicate the requirements and misc. characteristic of current project to team member
• Keeping tracks of progress, managing progress, provide judgement & decision of multiple relevant & state-of-the-art cybersecurity-related project
